Order Picker Operator Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Order Picker Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating an order picker forklift to retrieve, pick, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate an order picker forklift to select and retrieve products from warehouse racking systems. Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment. Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and order completion. Verify product quantities and inspect items for damage before shipment. Maintain inventory accuracy through proper product handling and location management. Follow all OSHA, company safety policies, and equipment operating procedures. Assist with loading, unloading, stocking, and general warehouse duties as needed. Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or equipment issues to management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating an order picker forklift preferred. Ability to obtain or maintain forklift certification. Experience using RF scanners and warehouse inventory systems is a plus. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at elevated heights safely. Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting. Ability to work at heights while operating an order picker. Ability to safely maneuver warehouse equipment throughout the facility.

Schedule:

Full-time Overtime as required based on business needs

Pay:

$18.00 per hour
