Inspector at Smurfit Westrock in Harrison, Arkansas, United States Job Description
The Opportunity:
As a Production team member, you will support our manufacturing operations by ensuring efficient, safe, and high\u2011quality production processes across multiple departments. You will rotate through various work areas, gaining exposure to different machines, workflows, and product types. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands\u2011on work, thrives in a fast\u2011paced environment, and is looking for long\u2011term growth within a leading packaging organization.
How You Will Impact Smurfit Westrock:
Follow all SOPs and safety procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Set up work areas by preparing materials such as corrugated sheets, waste pads, labels, plastic, and banding. Visually and manually inspect cartons for defects in gluing, folding, or layout. Pack cartons into corrugated cases according to customer specifications. Apply case labels, operate case sealers, and stage finished cases onto conveyors. Sort materials and support special sorting projects to maintain product quality. Use a hand\u2011lift jack to move pallets and maintain ergonomic working conditions. Collaborate with shift leadership to support production demands and ensure workflow efficiency. What You Need to
Succeed:
High school diploma or equivalent. Basic math aptitude and the ability to read a ruler. Ability to obtain and maintain a fork truck license.
