The Crater is responsible for assembling boxes and crates used for shipping equipment and products for safe and effective shipment by wrapping and crating items as appropriate. The base pay range for this position is $ 18/hr. - 21/hr. with mandatory overtime, as needed. What you will do Build wooden crate around large or odd-shaped articles using pre-assembled materials Read blueprints, work order, and other specifications, and inspect products to determine size and shape of container, materials to be used, and types of supports and braces to be used Assemble materials using handheld pneumatic staple and nail gun Place product in container, manually or using hoist Wrap and pad product with cardboard, foam, or other packing material What we require High School diploma or equivalent Proficient with simple hand tools and pneumatic gun Ability to lift and move material and parts up to 50lbs unassisted Ability to move in a variety of ways including standing, squatting, stretching, and bending, as needed to build large crates and boxes What we prefer 1 year experience as a warehouse / factory worker (general laborer) What we offer Taking Care of our employees on day one with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
