Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are currently hiring a Lumber Packaging Associate to support our shipping and production operations. This position involves preparing lumber products for delivery, securing bundles, and assisting with material handling in an outdoor work environment. Candidates should be comfortable performing physical tasks throughout the 2nd shift.
Responsibilities:
Prepare lumber products for shipment and distribution. Secure lumber bundles using banding materials and packaging equipment. Organize and stage products for loading and transportation. Assist with handling, stacking, and moving lumber materials. Perform quality checks to ensure products are ready for shipment. Maintain a safe and organized work area. Follow company safety procedures and production guidelines.
Requirements:
Ability to perform repetitive physical work. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to lift, carry, and move lumber materials as needed. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or lumber yard experience is helpful but not required.
