In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently and correctly. This position plays a vital role in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting timely order fulfillment, and upholding high standards of quality control. The ideal candidate will possess strong materials handling skills, experience operating warehouse equipment, and a commitment to safety and accuracy. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pull customer orders using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and completeness. Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools safely to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse. Stock shelves and organize inventory systematically to facilitate quick retrieval and maintain optimal warehouse flow. Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments, inspecting goods for quality control, and documenting discrepancies. Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring proper labeling, packaging standards, and adherence to safety protocols. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to prioritize tasks, manage inventory levels, and optimize order fulfillment processes. Maintain a clean, organized work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and participating in regular warehouse housekeeping activities. Qualifications Proven experience in warehouse operations, including order picking, packing, stocking, and materials handling. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanner technology. Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, with valid certification preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate order fulfillment. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload items safely throughout the shift. Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse distribution is highly desirable. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
