Job Summary:

The Sorter is responsible for organizing, inspecting, and sorting materials or products in a warehouse or production setting. This role ensures items are properly categorized, meet quality standards, and are prepared for further processing, storage, or shipment.

Key Responsibilities:

Sort and separate products, materials, or packages based on size, type, quality, or destination Inspect items for defects, damage, or inconsistencies and report any issues to supervisors Maintain accuracy and efficiency while handling high-volume sorting tasks Label, tag, or organize items according to company procedures Assist with packing, staging, and preparing items for shipment Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines (including PPE requirements) Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals

Qualifications:

Previous warehouse, production, or sorting experience preferred but not required Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic communication skills (English may be required depending on work environment) Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as needed

Work Environment:

Warehouse or production facility setting May involve exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving equipment Requires use of proper safety gear (e.g., gloves, safety vest, steel-toe boots if required)
