This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to accurately and efficiently package prepared food products in compliance with California food safety regulations, company quality standards, and daily production schedules. The Food Packaging Associate supports overall production operations while maintaining a safe, sanitary, and organized work environment. Responsibilities Package prepared food items according to portion sizes, labeling requirements, and company specifications Inspect products for quality, accuracy, and presentation prior to packaging Label, seal, and date food containers accurately Follow all food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and California Health Department requirements Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of packaging stations, equipment, and surrounding work areas Meet established production goals and timelines in a fast-paced environment Report quality issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly Comply with all company policies, workplace safety rules, and health regulations Assist with other production or kitchen duties as assigned Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Document production activities accurately and report any discrepancies or issues to supervisors Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the food industry (food production, meal prep, packaging, or commercial kitchen environment) Valid ServSafe Food Handler or ServSafe Food Protection Certificate (required) Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and safe food handling practices Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and accuracy Reliable attendance and punctuality We are looking for dependable team members who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.
