In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing products for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in warehouse operations and heavy equipment operation will help maintain a smooth flow of goods within a fast-paced distribution environment. Responsibilities Efficiently pick orders using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy. Pack items securely, preparing them for shipping while maintaining quality standards. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes to load and unload materials safely. Handle materials with care during shipping and receiving processes, adhering to OSHA safety guidelines. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper stacking and organization of goods using heavy equipment and manual handling techniques. Maintain accurate inventory records through proper documentation and use of warehouse management systems. Assist with warehouse organization, cleanliness, and safety inspections to promote a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments. Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks; certification preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and materials handling equipment. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation. Experience with RF scanners or other warehouse management systems for order picking and inventory control. Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
