Packer Vernon, CA 90058 $18.75 an hour - Full-time $18.75 an hour - Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team in a fast-paced food processing plant. The Packer will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are packaged efficiently and meet all safety and quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety practices, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Package finished products according to specifications, ensuring proper labeling and presentation. Sanitate work areas and equipment regularly to maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety regulations. Assist in the fabrication of products, including meat cutting when necessary, while following all safety protocols. Monitor the production line for any issues, reporting them promptly to supervisors or maintenance personnel. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions during the packing process. Ensure compliance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) standards throughout all packing operations. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Previous experience in a food processing plant or similar environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge or experience with operating packaging machinery is a plus. Ability to use knives safely and effectively for product preparation is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and quality in food production.

Schedule:

2:30pm-11:00pm Overtime including weekends when needed required
