JOB SUMMARY
Tends machine that performs one or more packaging functions such as filling, marking, labeling, banding, tying, packing, or wrapping containers by performing the following duties.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Package materials and products by hand that are produced. Assemble cartons, clean and line packing containers. Take inventory counts and record on appropriate forms. Label cases. Assist with cleaning of machines during product change. Check quality of finished product, i.e.: pouch seal, case print, bag label, weight, etc. Assist with sanitation duties when production line is down. Maintain work area in neat and orderly manner. Assist the machine operator in changeover from one product to another.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
