Why This Role Green Dot Labs is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Packaging Specialist I to support the final stages of our concentrate production process. This role is responsible for packaging, labeling, quality control, and order preparation activities that ensure products meet Green Dot Labs' quality standards and are ready for distribution. Working closely with Packaging, Inventory, and Production teams, this position plays an important role in maintaining product quality, packaging accuracy, and operational efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a premium cannabis manufacturing environment while contributing directly to the consistency and quality of our products. What You'll Do Package cannabis concentrate products according to established specifications and quality standards Measure and portion products into designated package sizes and gram increments Perform quality control checks throughout the packaging process Label finished products and prepare outgoing orders for distribution Assemble packaging components and finished goods according to SOPs Track and record daily packaging and production data Maintain clean, organized, and sanitary workstations and packaging areas Clean and maintain packaging equipment and tools Assist with inventory movement and product handling activities Support delivery and distribution activities as requested Follow all company SOPs, safety requirements, and quality standards Communicate equipment issues, product concerns, and operational needs to leadership What's In It for You Opportunity to work with one of the cannabis industry's leading premium brands Hands-on experience within a quality-focused concentrate manufacturing environment Exposure to packaging, quality control, inventory, and production operations Collaborative team environment focused on craftsmanship and operational excellence Opportunities for growth within Packaging and broader Operations teams What Makes You a Great Fit High school diploma or GED required Must be at least 21 years of age Must have and maintain an active MED Badge, or be eligible and willing to obtain one prior to employment. Must be able to pass a background investigation for the State of Colorado and the City of Boulder Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and PPE requirements preferred Reliable transportation required Work Environment This role is primarily onsite in Boulder, CO and operates within a cannabis production and packaging environment. Following the initial training period, the schedule typically consists of four 10-hour shifts per week based on operational needs. The role requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks throughout the workday. Employees must be able to lift up to 20 pounds and safely perform bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and product-handling activities. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in accordance with company procedures and task requirements.
