Applications are expected to close on June 12, 2026. About Bovella Dairy Bovella Dairy is a new Colorado real dairy, lactose-free ice cream brand made with organic Colorado milk. We are looking for reliable, hands-on help with ice cream production, packaging, labeling, and general production support. This is a real behind-the-scenes food startup role. You may be helping make ice cream in a commercial kitchen one day, packing pints the next, organizing supplies, prepping ingredients, applying labels, cleaning equipment, or helping get product ready for stores, events, and production deadlines. If you are curious about food, local brands, small business, or what it actually takes to build a consumer packaged goods company from the ground up, this could be a great fit. This is not a slow desk job. It is hands-on, detail-oriented work for someone who likes being useful, moving with purpose, and seeing real work get done. What You May Help With Responsibilities may include: Helping with ice cream production in a commercial kitchen Measuring ingredients and following recipes carefully Preparing mix-ins, sauces, inclusions, and packaging materials Packing pints and cups Applying labels accurately and efficiently Organizing ingredients, packaging, inventory, and supplies Helping with production-day setup and breakdown Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas Preparing product for orders, markets, demos, or store drop-offs Helping keep production days organized and on track Who This Role Is For This role may be a good fit if you: Are reliable and communicate clearly Are comfortable working on your feet Like hands-on work Can follow instructions carefully Notice details Can move efficiently without being careless Are comfortable with repetitive packaging or labeling tasks Can stay focused when there is a deadline Are interested in food, small business, local brands, startups, or CPG Can work independently after being shown what to do Who This Role Is Not For This may not be the right fit if you: Need a perfectly predictable weekly schedule Do not like physical or hands-on work Get overwhelmed by deadlines Dislike repetitive packaging or labeling tasks Are uncomfortable in a commercial kitchen environment Need constant direction to stay on task Only want customer-facing work Schedule This is part-time, project-based work. Hours will vary depending on production needs, packaging deadlines, inventory needs, and order volume. Some work may be scheduled in advance, while additional opportunities may come up as the business grows. There may be potential for more consistent work over time for the right person. Experience Food production, commercial kitchen, bakery, packaging, farmers market, grocery, CPG, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Reliability, common sense, attention to detail, and a good attitude matter more. Work Location In person in Denver, CO. How to Apply Please apply through Indeed with your resume or a short summary of your experience. In your application, please include: Why this role interests you Your general availability Any food, kitchen, production, packaging, small business, or startup experience you have Your favorite ice cream flavor Thoughtful answers will be reviewed first.
