GED Full Job Description Position Summary:
Hand load pens or dozen boxes from the assembly machine into bulk boxes or master cartons for G2, EZR and EZT machines, Cartoner machine. Operate G2 print, EZR print, Write Test machine, cleaning, and appearance check. Ensure quality, safety, and production standards.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Assemble and label master cartons for pens to be loaded into. Load cartoner machines with dozen boxes, as needed. Unpack raw material to be used for product run, as needed. Operate G2 Print, G2 Write Test, EZR Print, EZT Print, & Cartoner machines; complete G2 Refill cleaning and appearance checks. Fill out detailed paperwork, reporting machine performance and production quantity. Clean centrifuges and change pucks as needed. Train associates and temporary workforce as and when required. Complete training with new machinery and SOP as and when required. Inspect and recognize bad or defective raw materials. Constantly inspect finished product as it is being printed or packed to ensure quality. Help with rework as needed. Clean machine residue and perform minor troubleshooting to machine, as needed. Keep up to date with product codes and their descriptions to ensure accuracy of finished product. Perform packaging tasks in Blister and Display departments as needed. Work extended shifts and/or weekends, when necessary, which in most cases would occur during the Back-to-School seasons Ensure workspace and the surrounding work areas are neat and clean during and at the end of the shift.
Education and Experience Requirements:
High school diploma with up to one year of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Skills Required:
Speak and comprehend direction and feedback as articulated in English. Must be conscientious, dependable and detail oriented. Dexterity skills are required. Monday- Friday 7:30 AM- 3:30 PM
