PIT Operator (Cherry Picker) Full Time Regular Labor and Helpers Jacksonville, FL, US Carparts.com is seeking team members with a drive to serve, succeed and grow. In this role, you'll be responsible for moving inventory, by doing picking, consolidations, and put-away. Cherry pickers and reach truck operators are one of the most important positions for serving our customers' needs. You'll be key to driving our success!

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Properly operate Lift Trucks -Stock/Cherry Pickers. Complete Order Picker checklist and ensure pallet is on forks before lifting. Ensure battery level is not below 25%. Ensure safety harness and lanyard are in good condition. Safely pick up pallets from staging locations. Put away items and document their locations with accuracy. Practice safe material handling. Count pieces that put away and compare with scanner. Ensure the items put away match with current stock. Make sure that each item has label. Assist in packing of parts when needed. Put away old LP's before newer ones, unless otherwise instructed. Ensuring cleanliness of work area at the end of the day. Meet the expected quota. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned

Shift:

Thu-Fri-Sat 5:00am to 5:30pm

Intermediate interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills. Flexible attitude. Detail oriented. Availability to work the necessary hours to deliver high quality output. Ability to keep a clean and organized work area. Willingness to work extended hours (overtime) when needed. Goal-oriented mindset. The ability to safely operate stock/cherry picker.
