Job Description

CATALYST NUTRACEUTICALS

Job Purpose The Stick Pack Packer is responsible for producing high quality powder products in the powder packaging department by following specifications listed in the work order. Essential Duties Handle the startup and shut down of the line and various equipment in the packaging line. Read and understand the work order and specifications to ensure correct components are used for production. Follow all SOP's and cGMP requirements. load and unload components to various equipment in the packaging line. assist in changeovers, washing and sanitization of production lines. Learn the various equipment in the line to ensure proper use. Participate in all applicable safety and food safety training and wear proper personal protective equipment as needed. Palletize finished product properly based on customer specifications. Spot check product to ensure that it has proper labels, presentable packaging, proper master case label with relevant information. Maintain a clean workspace by assisting in housekeeping duties to minimize food safety risks. Able to lift 30 pounds frequently. Use material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks. Willing to work overtime as necessary. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able t o perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education:
High school diploma /GED or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Experience:
Prioritization and time management skills Working quickly without compromising quality In a food facility or facility that follows cGMP practices is preferred but not required. Key Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance. Bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred.
