Job Summary:
The Inventory Allocator is responsible for locating, evaluating, tagging, staging product for shipment and communicating to appropriate parties on rejected product.Responsibilities:
Locate, evaluate, tag and stage product to prepare for shipping and fulfilment of customer orders Monitor inventory levels and quality of product to ensure levels meet customer requirements and specifications Liaise with commodities, shipping, production, receiving and food safety departments concerning inbound product needed or quality issues on outbound product; investigate and take corrective action Complete end of shift report detailing what product has been marked and staged Ensure the health, safety, and cleanliness of the work environment Other core expectations as defined by the companyQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred Minimum one (1) year forklift experience required Minimum of one (1) year inventory management and/or quality assurance experience in the produce industry preferred Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices, Health and Safety, Food Safety preferred Some computer knowledge required; Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), ERP software, FAMOUS® preferred Excellent analytical, time management and organizational skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team Ability to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment; possess a strong attention to detail Steel-toed shoes are requiredWork Environment:
The site is refrigerated and temperature controlled to maintain the integrity of the product, it is a cold environment, however it is not at freezing temperatures Hours of work may vary depending on business needs; flexibility is required Role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Specific vision capabilities required; employee is to work in front of a computer, sitting and/or standing for prolonged periods is required The position may involve needing to lift up to 30-pounds, occasionally up to 50-pounds, using proper techniques If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, submit your resume to Pure Flavor today!
