Job Description

Job Summary:
The purpose of the AE Supervisor is to safely run AE machines efficiently as possible to produce first quality carpet.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Keep sufficient amount of yarn opened for Airing Machines. Keep daily production records. Responsible for packaging yarn. Input case information into computer. Performance Expectations (if applicable): Lifting is required of yarn and packaging material, weighing 1
  • 20 lbs. approximately 90% of the shift. Standing is required 75% of shift for 20
  • 30 minute intervals. Reaching is required for yarn approximately 90% of shift. Stooping is required periodically during shift. Bending is required approximately 200 times per shift to pack yarn. Must be able to use snips and scissors approximately 20
  • 30% of shift.
Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.
Experience/Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. Must be computer trainable (data entry). Must be able to operate a lift truck and complete proper lift truck training.
Other Requirements:
Safety equipment must be worn as required. Perform any other duties as assigned. All accidents must be reported immediately. Overtime is required on occasion.
