Stay Positive Get the Job Done Customer Centricity 100% Committed to the Team Job Summary We are seeking a highly dependable and detail-oriented Picker to join our shipping department. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, scanning, and preparing products for shipment while maintaining an organized and safe workspace. This position is vital to our daily warehouse operations and requires a team-first mindset, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Order Fulfillment:
Perform daily picking duties using handheld scanners to accurately select products according to pick lists and system instructions.
Inventory Handling:
Lift, carry, and move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs and place products in designated storage or picking locations.
Organization:
Maintain clean, organized, and safe picking areas; assist with putting away packaging and shipping materials.
Collaboration:
Support other warehouse areas as needed and participate in team meetings and communications.
Operational Excellence:
Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures while demonstrating flexibility to learn new departmental processes.
Operational & Technical Functions Inventory Management:
Maintain up-to-date inventory at specific locations and resolve order alerts or status issues.
Internal Support:
Respond to internal business partners courteously and escalate issues to management as appropriate.
Problem Solving:
Prioritize workload based on urgency and apply logical thinking to resolve area-specific challenges.
Essential Skills & Qualifications Technical Proficiency:
Basic knowledge of Excel and mid-level experience with Office 365.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred.
Critical Thinking:
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to research and find solutions independently.
Soft Skills:
Maintain a professional demeanor, thrive in fast-paced environments, and remain dependable and punctual. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling. Work is performed in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels. Must be able to work well under pressure to meet productivity expectations.
