Position:
We're looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Beer Picker to join our team in Savannah, GA. In this essential role, you'll be responsible for accurately selecting, labeling, and preparing beer orders for shipment. The position is physically demanding and requires frequent lifting as well as efficient and safe operation of an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ).
Key Responsibilities:
Read and follow order instructions to accurately pick and label beer orders Safely operate equipment such as EPJs, pallet jacks, and forklifts (if certified) Efficiently load shipments, ensuring orders are complete and properly packed in assigned zones Keep work area clean, organized, and safe Notify management of low inventory levels Consistently meet or exceed productivity and safety standards
Requirements:
Age 18 or older At least 6 months of order picking experience preferred Must have experience operating Electric Pallet Jacks High school diploma, GED, or vocational school equivalent required Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and professional attitude Able to adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using technology and learning new systems Solid basic math skills
Work Environment:
Warehouse is non-temperature-controlled; some tasks require entering refrigerated areas Noise levels can range from moderate to loud
Physical Requirements:
