Job Description

The Opportunity We are looking for a sharp, detail-obsessed individual to oversee the final stage of our finishing process. As our QC and Packaging Specialist, you are the final filter for our shop's quality standards. You will ensure that every receiver, rail, and assembly is perfect before it leaves our facility and that it is packed with the care required to reach the customer in pristine condition.
What You'll Do Final Inspection:
Perform rigorous quality checks on all finished parts. You will be looking for surface defects (dry spray, debris, runs), inconsistent coverage, or damage to threads and internal tolerances.
Tolerance Verification:
Ensure that critical areas (like bolt channels or optic mounts) were properly masked or cleared, ensuring the part is fully functional.
Assembly & Re-assembly:
Assist in the careful re-assembly of parts if required, ensuring no scratches occur during the process.
Professional Packaging:
Package finished items using protective materials (e.g., anti-static bags, bubble wrap, custom foam inserts) to ensure they are protected from impact and moisture during transit.
Documentation & Logistics:
Verify orders against client manifests, print shipping labels, and ensure tracking information is accurately updated.
Defect Reporting:
Provide feedback to the Prep and Applicator teams if you identify recurring issues, helping us tighten our processes. What You Bring Obsessive Attention to
Detail:
You have the "eagle eye" required to spot a single speck of dust or a faint scratch that others would overlook.
Technical Aptitude:
You understand basic firearm mechanics or mechanical assembly, allowing you to identify if a part is "fit for duty."
Reliability:
You take ownership of the final output. You are the last person to touch the product, and you take pride in the "unboxing experience" for our customers.
Organizational Skills:
You can manage multiple orders simultaneously without mixing up components or shipping labels.
Communication:
You are comfortable flagging issues to the production team immediately—even if it means slowing down a shipment to make it right. Why Join Us? The "Final Touch": Be the person responsible for the customer's first impression of our work.
Professional Environment:
Work in a clean, organized, and safety-conscious facility.
Career Growth:
Understand the entire lifecycle of our products, from raw metal to finished, packaged goods.
Pay:
$28,000.00 - $42,240.00 per year
Work Location:
In person
