Responsibilities Pack meat products accurately and efficiently according to specified weight, size, and packaging requirements Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely, performing routine mechanical checks and troubleshooting as needed Follow all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines to maintain a safe working environment Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) protocols and food safety regulations Assist with meat cutting processes, ensuring proper knife skills are applied for precise portioning Monitor product quality throughout the packing process, identifying any defects or deviations from standards Support the overall sanitation efforts of the food processing plant by adhering to sanitation schedules and procedures Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while upholding food safety and manufacturing best practices Skills Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and sanitation procedures within a food processing plant Experience with HACCP principles related to food safety management systems Background in manufacturing or food production environments, especially within the food industry Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and knife skills for precise portioning Mechanical knowledge for operating and troubleshooting packaging machinery Familiarity with packaging processes specific to the food industry, including labeling and sealing techniques Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a meat processing plant Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Join us in creating safe, high-quality meat products that delight customers!
