This position is responsible for preparing and packaging wood product orders for shipment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an outdoor, non-climate-controlled environment and must be able to accurately read a tape measure to ensure proper packaging and labeling of products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Packaging and Wrapping Orders Move packages between outdoor and indoor work areas and position them for pickup and shipment. Pull protective wrap over packages and cut wrapping material to fit the size of the package. Secure wrapping material by stapling it underneath the package. Lift and position foam rolls over packages when required, ensuring complete coverage and protection. Attach shipping labels to both sides of each package. Clearly write the customer order name on each end of the package. Inspect completed packages to ensure they are properly wrapped, labeled, and ready for shipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications Ability to read and accurately use a tape measure. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous warehouse, manufacturing, packaging, or lumber industry experience is a plus but not required. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly throughout the shift. Must be able to stand for the entire work shift. Must be able to bend, twist, stoop, and reach above shoulder level on a regular basis. Must be able to work outdoors and in a non-climate-controlled environment in varying weather conditions.
