The Receiving Operator serves as the initial point of contact for product arriving at the production facility and is responsible for coordinating incoming product, performing quality testing and ensuring that processes are properly executed with appropriate documentation. This position has mastery over all functions of the intake bay areas. Operate truck scales from a computer to weigh total product being received and distributed. Track essential information of truck loads including product type, weight, and more. Conduct antibiotic tests to ensure quality of milk.
What you need:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Where you'll be working: Our Jerome, ID, plant is home to approximately 400 employees and processes approximately 7 million pounds of milk per day. This facility produces various types of cheeses, such as; mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, muenster, parmesan, romano, Monterey jack, gouda, and asiago. They also run various whey streams, such as; deproteinized whey, sweet dairy whey, GMP, permeate, instantized, and our top-rated BiPro products. Agropur's US operations produce approximately 1 billion pounds of quality, award winning cheese each year. The US operations produce more than 20 different cheese varieties along with whey protein and dry ingredients.
