Responsibilities:
+ Determine proper packing material based on type of product or material. + Build cartons, tubes, skids, redi-crates and wood crates of different sizes to properly pack the product or material. + Process packed orders using the MRP system to accommodate the required method of shipment by scheduling in the UPS system or staging for other small box or LTL carrier pick up. + Load packed and processed material onto carrier trucks using pallet jacks, sit-down forklift, hoist, etc.
Requirements:
+ High School degree or equivalent. + 0-2 years of Shipping experience. + Standing, Stooping, Kneeling, and Walking. + Occasional standing for long periods of time.
