We are looking for Manufacturing Technician Dry Blending Technicians/Mixer Operator and Packers to join our Calumet City team, and enjoy a dynamic, collaborative culture. This role will allow you to grow with our company and engage with the many exciting facets of a flavor and ingredient manufacturer. The ideal individual will work hard and be results driven, but also have fun along the way. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Compound formulations, via mixing, including but not limited to: weighing ingredients in pounds, ounces, kilos and grams. Packing out product once complete Recording lot numbers of ingredients used. Meticulously follow weighing and manufacturing directions. Perform visual inspection and measuring techniques. Locate and move ingredients necessary for compounding/mixing from warehouse to manufacturing area. Replace ingredients after use. Keep work areas clean following required cleaning and sanitation procedures. Ability to operate different types of manufacturing transportation equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.). Ability to handle changing tasks without loss of efficiency. Ability to receive guidance from supervisor, follow work rules and procedures, meet deadlines, and follow safety practices. Follow attendance and punctuality standards. Ability to work extended shift schedule (over 40 hours when required) and weekends when necessary to meet business needs.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibility.

• Computer literacy (Microsoft Suite - Outlook, Email, Word and Excel)
• Comfortable using basic math skills

Experience:

High school diploma required. Food manufacturing experience is not required but preferred. Knowledge of food and chemical handling and mixing a plus.

Language Skills:

English and Bilingual language preferred.

Mathematical Skills:

Mathematical ability related to weights and measurements.
