Order Picker Responsibilities:
- Use manual pick tickets or RF devices to accurately select items for customer orders
- Visually inspect inventory for order accuracy and completeness
- Physically move goods from storage to pallets or carts
- Hand stretch wrap pallets and affix labels for shipment
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and hand trucks to move materials
- Transfer materials from receiving or production areas to designated storage locations
- Maintain inventory accuracy by recording purchase receipts, returns, moves, and outbound shipments
- Sort and organize materials on racks, shelves, or bins
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming warehouse inventory
- Pack, prepare, and ship orders efficiently Requirements for
Order Picker:
- 0-2 years of related experience or training
- Ability to stand for 3-4 hour increments up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 20 lbs regularly
- Strong attention to detail
