In this energetic role, you will efficiently select, pack, and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Your proactive approach will help maintain smooth warehouse flow, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in heavy equipment operation and warehouse management while contributing to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and other warehouse management systems to ensure correct items are selected for shipment Pack products securely, using appropriate materials handling techniques to prevent damage during transit Load and unload shipments utilizing heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and cranes in compliance with OSHA safety standards Operate heavy machinery including forklifts and crane equipment safely to move materials within the warehouse Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Maintain organization of inventory through proper stacking, palletizing, and storage practices in the warehouse Support warehouse supervisor in managing stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols Skills Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, and materials handling Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, cranes, and other machinery safely Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for efficient order processing Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations applicable to warehouse environments Experience in shipping & receiving processes within a construction or industrial setting Physical capability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to excellence in logistics operations!
