Job Title:

Packer Job Description As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for the final packaging of various flavors such as powders, spray dry, liquids, emulsions, and extracts. You will collaborate closely with Batch Processors to ensure food safety, quality, efficiency, and accuracy are prioritized. This role involves operating machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks while adhering to safety procedures and labeling requirements. Responsibilities Package batches with the correct finished product quantity and label. Monitor equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Record operational and production data accurately. Transport materials, supplies, and products between work areas using equipment and forklifts. Communicate any food safety concerns to shift leads or management. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) including sanitation of equipment after each batch. Essential Skills Ability to read and follow safety procedures. Understanding of food safety importance. Ability to operate machinery such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks. Proficiency in using forklifts. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauconda, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
