Job Description

Coremaker - 3rd
Shift Hours:
9:00 PM - 4:00
AM Starting Pay:
$23.00/hour + 20%
Shift Differential Position Summary:
The Coremaker is responsible for the safe and proper production of cores, copes, and drags using established patterns, procedures, and work instructions to complete required tasks. This is a physically demanding position that requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive movements, including twisting, lifting, pushing, and using mallets throughout the shift.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely produce cores, copes, and drags according to specifications and procedures. Follow work instructions and established processes to install chills, locators, vents, and risers. Pack molds with sand, season, and turn out finished product. Ensure all required procedures are followed, completed, and signed as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and obstruction-free work area. Follow all company safety guidelines and production standards. Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, pushing, twisting, and repetitive movement throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift. Frequent twisting, lifting, pushing, and repetitive motion. Ability to safely handle tools and equipment, including mallets. Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment. Benefit information available on company website.
