Job Title:

Utility Worker Job Description The Utility Worker is tasked with ensuring the proper packaging of materials and finished products. This role involves loading and moving materials, operating packaging equipment, and adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards as well as applicable laws and regulations. Properly pack and package products according to specific customer requirements. Inspect finished products to ensure conformity with customer specifications. Discard defective bottles and report quality issues to management. Prepare materials for production line changeovers, including mixing and regrinding materials. Monitor conveyor systems and clear bottle jams. Operate bagger and de-bagging machines as needed. Operate bottle decoration or silkscreen equipment when required. Assemble boxes and cartons, and hand-pack materials. Load and unload materials from trucks. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Essential Skills Experience with production line and assembly work. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Skill in labeling and packaging bottles. Physical ability to perform tasks involving taping and physical labor. Experience with packaging, tape backup, and boxing. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $17.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
