Feeder Packer As a Feeder Packer, you will play a key role in supporting Finishing and Forming operations by supplying equipment with necessary rolls of paper and materials, moving finished product, and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Your work ensures smooth production flow, proper staging of product, and consistent adherence to safety and housekeeping standards throughout the department. How You Will Impact Smurfit WestRock General Responsibilities Supply all finishing and forming equipment on your shift with large rolls of paper and other required supplies. Apply labels to pallets as needed. Remove empty skids and move finished‑product skids from the formers to the assigned staging areas. Follow all safety rules and procedures; actively participate in plant safety programs. Safely handle rolls of paper that may weigh several thousand pounds using appropriate equipment. Participate in the preventive maintenance program. Operate an electric pallet jack to safely and efficiently move materials. Maintain housekeeping and overall organization throughout the department. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read and understand written materials such as instruction manuals, procedure manuals, and assembly guides. Ability to work safely with heavy materials and powered equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
