Roxbury, MA 02119 Job Description We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Produce Packer to join our team in Roxbury, MA. The Produce Packer is responsible for sorting, packaging, labeling, and stocking fresh fruits and vegetables in a clean and efficient manner. Responsibilities Sort, clean, and package fresh produce for display Label packages accurately with product names, weights, and sell-by dates Refill and rotate produce displays using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method Maintain cleanliness of the packing area, tools, and storage coolers Follow store guidelines on packaging types, branding, and pricing Assist with receiving and unloading produce shipments Communicate shortages, overripe produce, or damaged items to supervisors Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and store policies Support other produce department tasks as needed (e.g., trimming, organizing) Qualifications Experience as a Produce Packer or in a similar role preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and orderliness. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
