Cannabis Packaging Associate

Cannabis Packaging Associate Core Duties:

This role is primarily responsible for the post-harvest packaging of medical and recreational marijuana. Duties will include sorting, batching, weighing and packaging finished product for retail and wholesale orders. Record keeping and organizational tasks take place daily and strict adherence to procedures is necessary as outlined by state regulations, as well as company policies & procedures. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of work areas, grow spaces, and all necessary equipment and tools is a core part of the position.

Principal Responsibilities:

Ensuring packages are properly labelled based on batch number, product type, weight, etc., before packaging Sorting finished product and packing in appropriate bags based on package label Sealing, counting, and bundling packages Filling, topping, and capping pre-rolled joints Trimming post-harvest marijuana, as needed Filling and packing wholesale orders when needed Completing production through-put spreadsheets daily Ensuring work area, equipment, and tools are clean and sanitized at the beginning of the workday, during the workday and at the end of the workday The above job description in no way states or implies these duties are the only duties performed by this employee. Essential Work Experience and Qualifications:

Knowledge about cannabis: genetics, laws, medicinal values, culture, and trends of the industry is preferred, but not required. Must pass a CORI background check and be willing to submit personal information to become a licensed state agent. Previous experience in processing/production preferred Quick hand eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of quality control General knowledge of math, weights and quantities Ability to multi-task and maintain work consistency on a daily basis while doing repetitive tasks High attention to detail • Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid state-issued ID or driver's license. Proven reliability through a consistent work history is required.

Pay:

$16.00 per hour This is a full-time position located at our main cultivation and dispensary location in Pittsfield, Massachusetts in the heart of the beautiful Berkshires of Western Massachusetts.
