Job Description
JOB SUMMARY
A Loader places cabinets and parts into a trailer using hand dollies and pallet jacks; ensuring that the load is correct and secure for transport.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Load cabinets into trailers following the Handling, Staging, and Loading requirements Packaging cabinets while moving down the assembly line and using strapping machine to secure box for loading Use scanning system to ensure correct components are assembled Accurately interpret production labels and scan cabinets and parts Occasionally use a pallet jack to move skids of parts for loading Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping Other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow all handling, staging, and loading (HSL) requirements Ability to identify cabinet types, wood species, finishes, and color variances Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measureRequired Education and Experience:
High school diploma or G.E.D.Required Physical Ability:
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time Frequent bending, crouching, pulling, and pushing Regularly lift and/or move up to 30lb, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbWORKING CONDITIONS
