Summary:
- The Inspector plays an essential role within the production team, ensuring that all parts meet quality standards through accurate racking, inspection, sorting, packaging, and labeling. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to maintaining operational excellence and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough inspection of production parts, identifying and categorizing plating defects with precision
- Enter all required data into computer systems accurately and promptly
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members regarding job requirements and findings
- Continually update knowledge on new parts, processes, and production requirements through ongoing training
- Operate job-specific equipment according to established procedures
- Transport, organize, and package materials, ensuring products are properly labeled and prepared for shipment
- Comply with established procedures for material handling, inventory counts, and product sorting
- Secure products to plating racks efficiently and accurately while following all written specifications and instructions
- Support production, racking, and sorting tasks as required
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Basic proficiency with computer systems
- Exceptional attention to detail
Working Conditions:
- Must adhere to all safety requirements in production and inspection areas
- Standing, walking, bending, or lifting may be required throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move materials as necessary
- Frequent repetitive motions and working in variable temperature environments may be required
