Job Description

Job Title:
Warehouse Picker Job Description This role focuses on accurately picking and packing nuts, bolts, and other hardware products, preparing orders for shipment, and assisting with deliveries as needed. You will work in a clean, well-organized warehouse using RF scanners and other basic warehouse tools, with the potential to transition into a full-time delivery role if the opportunity arises. Responsibilities Pick and pack nuts, bolts, and various hardware items according to order specifications and packing lists. Use RF scanners to locate, scan, and confirm products and quantities accurately. Prepare orders for shipment by staging, labeling, and organizing them for loading. Load packed orders onto trucks for next-day deliveries in a safe and efficient manner. Fill in for delivery runs as needed, including taking out missed items or urgent orders. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift. Verify lot numbers and serial numbers to ensure accuracy and traceability of products. Handle boxes weighing between 5 lbs and 50 lbs throughout the workday. Walk throughout the warehouse for the duration of the shift to complete picking tasks. Follow all warehouse procedures and safety guidelines while working independently and as part of a team. Essential Skills Previous warehouse experience in picking and packing roles. Ability to use RF scanners or similar handheld scanning devices. Capability to walk around a warehouse for up to 8 hours per day. Ability to lift and carry boxes weighing from 5 lbs to 50 lbs on a regular basis. Strong attention to detail, especially when matching lot numbers and serial numbers. Reliability and consistent work history demonstrating good attendance and work ethic. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in shipping or loading trucks for delivery is beneficial. Prior experience in hardware or similar product environments is a plus. Interest in or openness to moving into a delivery-focused role in the future. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
