Shift Warehouse Union Job Function:

The Union Warehouse role is responsible for accurately filling customer orders, receiving and stock inventory as well as operating machinery. This position requires strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Ø Read orders to ascertain catalog numbers, sizes, colors and quantities of merchandise. Ø Measure, weight, or count products or materials. Ø Obtain merchandise from bins and shelves. Ø Operate electric pallet jacks, forklifts, cutters if qualified. Ø Load and unload trucks. Ø Wrap and label packages for delivery. Ø Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ø Demonstrates detailed knowledge of the company's products & services. Ø Possesses strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ø Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ø Promotes teamwork and collaboration. Ø Communicates clearly and effectively. Ø Ability to operate machinery/equipment with safety as the priority.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

Ø Regularly required to walk, sit, talk, and hear. Ø Occasionally lift office products and supplies up to 50 pounds and team lift above 50 pounds. Ø The position operates in a professional warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, forklifts, pallet jacks, cutters, and wrappers. Ø Ability to climb ladders.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time Union position at Anchor Central Monday through Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm
