Job Title:
Kitter - Weekend Day Shift (Friday-Sunday) Job Description This weekend kitter role focuses on accurately breaking down and organizing kits in a clean manufacturing environment. You will handle a variety of materials, including bolts, screws, and panels, while using standard warehouse tools and equipment to pick, pack, load, and move product. The position requires strong attention to detail, reliable counting skills, and the ability to follow visual aids and written instructions. This is a Friday through Sunday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM shift. Responsibilities Break down kits accurately and efficiently according to visual aids and work instructions. Count parts, components, and materials effortlessly and with a high degree of accuracy. Handle and organize bolts, screws, panels, and related hardware in a safe and orderly manner. Move and lift heavy boxes of screws and other materials, including items up to 50 pounds. Perform material handling tasks such as picking, packing, loading, and kitting. Use scan guns and RF scanners to locate, track, and verify inventory and work orders. Assemble and prepare kits for production and shipment following established procedures. Maintain a clean and organized work area within the warehouse and production space. Follow all directions, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines consistently. Work efficiently throughout a 12.5-hour weekend shift while maintaining quality and accuracy. Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues with materials, counts, or documentation. Essential Skills Previous experience in a detail-oriented position, such as kitting, material handling, assembly, or warehouse work. Proven ability to count parts and materials accurately and consistently. Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds safely and repeatedly during the shift. Ability to follow directions, visual aids, and written instructions with minimal supervision. Experience with material handling tasks including picking, packing, loading, and kitting. Familiarity with scan guns and RF scanners for inventory and order processing. Strong attention to detail to ensure correct components and quantities in each kit. Reliable work history that demonstrates commitment and stability in previous roles. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment. Experience with warehouse packing, packaging, and loading activities. Comfort working with hardware items such as bolts, screws, and panels. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
