Packager

The packager helps ensure the manufactured items are ready for shipment by banding, boxing, shrink wrapping, and labeling items in fast-paced setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards. Inspect finished products and perform paint touch-ups as needed. Packages and prepares metal building components for shipment. Adheres to quality control standards and inspection protocols. Maximizes productivity while maintaining equipment knowledge and performing routine maintenance. Completes required paperwork and computer data entry accurately. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required. Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

2nd Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am
