4 month contract-to-hire
Pay Rate:
$17/hr (pay raise to $18/hr upon conversion to full-time)
Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Packaging Room Associate to join our team. Reporting to the Packaging Room Supervisor and/or the Operations Coordinator, the Packaging Room Associate will be responsible for completing primary and secondary packaging room activities according to established procedures. 10% of job is in refrigerator, must be okay with the cold!
Responsibilities:
Perform manual bottle filling and inspection. Fill and inspect blister strips and blister cards. Apply labels manually, assemble packaging components, and conduct inspection procedures. Operate semi-automated packaging equipment in primary and secondary packaging rooms. Conduct major and minor cleaning tasks in packaging rooms and on equipment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent work experience. Strong reading, writing, and communication skills. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work well with others. Understanding of cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and adherence to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Manual dexterity and ability to work independently. Attention to detail and observance of safety procedures. Proficiency in English literacy and basic mathematical skills. Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry and cGMP standards is preferred.
