Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cold Chain Stocker to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity, safety, and quality of temperature-sensitive products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, stocking, rotating, and monitoring refrigerated and frozen inventory while strictly adhering to cold chain standards and food safety protocols. As a Cold Chain Stocker, you will play a key role in protecting product quality and supporting efficient warehouse operations. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and properly store refrigerated and frozen products according to cold chain guidelines. Ensure all temperature-sensitive items are promptly moved to appropriate storage areas. Monitor and record cooler and freezer temperatures to maintain compliance with food safety standards. Rotate stock using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods to minimize product loss and spoilage. Accurately pick and stage temperature-controlled orders as required. Maintain cleanliness and organization of refrigerated and frozen storage areas. Report any temperature irregularities, damaged products, or equipment issues immediately. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper PPE use in cold environments. Assist with inventory counts and support overall warehouse operations as needed. Qualifications Experience in warehouse, stocking, or cold storage environments preferred. Understanding of food safety and cold chain handling procedures is a plus. Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and stacking. Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
