Job Description

Education :
High School Diploma or GED Experience :
Shipping, receiving or manufacturing background preferred
Skills :
Reading, writing and comprehension skills; organizational skills; ability to lift and carry 50 pounds; color visual acuity; communication skills; computer skills
Responsibilities Include :
1. Coordinate with customer service regarding any discrepancies, lot number changes and shipping changes that directly affect any order. 2. Print pick tickets throughout the day 3. Confirm picking and shipping of products 4. Prepare kits for shipment and complete associated paperwork including hazardous material documentation. 5. Arrange shipping details and paperwork as needed. 6. Understanding of GMP's, OSHA and regulatory issues that apply to the shipping department. 7. Double and triple check product number, lot number and expiration dates. 8. Enter shipments into FedEx and UPS systems 9. Arrange shipments with carriers, freight quotes, outside pickups and deliveries.
