Warehouse Picker/Packer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Picker/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining high standards of quality. Your expertise in warehouse management systems, heavy equipment operation, and materials handling will contribute to seamless warehouse distribution processes. Responsibilities Efficiently pick and pack customer orders using RF scanners, order pickers, and other warehouse management tools Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical devices safely and effectively Load and unload shipments with precision, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems and perform stock replenishment as needed Conduct quality control checks during picking and packing to ensure order accuracy and product integrity Prepare shipments by packaging items securely, labeling correctly, and coordinating shipping & receiving activities Support warehouse distribution operations by stocking shelves, organizing inventory, and assisting with order fulfillment tasks Experience Proven warehouse experience with a strong understanding of warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, and order picking processes Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, RF scanners, pallet jacks, and other mechanical tools Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing Prior experience in a fast-paced environment involving picking & packing, stocking, and quality control measures Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, load & unload operations, and materials handling Warehouse supervisor experience or familiarity with warehouse management system administration is a plus Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of heavy equipment operation enhances efficiency in the role

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
