Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Sorter/Packer to join our team in Plattsburgh, New York. This individual will be responsible for providing support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspecting products for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration, and more listed below. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to complete basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instruction, willingness to learn, and is comfortable in a fast-paced, potentially loud manufacturing facility. Pay, Schedule, and Location Starting at $22.33/hour Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision 6 pm to 6 am – Rotating schedule (Two days on-Two days off- three days on) Located in Plattsburgh, New York Duties and Responsibilities Provides support for the operation team by working safely to feed material into machines Inspect product for defects and pack finished goods in correct configuration. Inspecting, packing, and sealing plastic products from conveyor lines. Maintaining sanitation standards, assembling boxes, ensuring product quality (proper price, seal, code date). Notifies Supervisor of quality issues as they arise. Maintains good housekeeping practices, able to work safely in a fast paced environment. Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Remove products from conveyors, check product quality/integrity, assemble boxes, pack products, tape boxes, and stack finished products on skids. Requirements and Qualifications Able to complete basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instruction Comfortable in a fast-paced, potentially loud manufacturing facility.
