Order Picker/Packer

Are you someone who loves being around greenery and thrives in a fast-paced environment? Blooming Patches Farm is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our fulfillment team. You will play a vital role in ensuring our plants are carefully selected, expertly packed, and shipped out to arrive healthy and happy at our customers' doorsteps.

Key Responsibilities Order Picking:

Accurately select plants and garden products from our inventory based on digital or printed pick sheets.

Quality Control:

Inspect plants during the picking process to ensure they meet our high standards for health and appearance.

Packing & Prep:

Securely pack delicate plants using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.

Shipping Logistics:

Prepare boxes for shipment, including labeling, weighing, and organizing orders for carrier pickup.

Inventory Maintenance:

Assist in keeping the packing station and greenhouse areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.

Physical Requirements & Environment Standing:

Must be comfortable standing and moving for the duration of your shift (8+ hours).

Lifting:

Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs regularly.

Climate:

While the majority of work is indoors/in the greenhouse, some minimal duties will require working outdoors in various weather conditions. Qualifications Attention to

Reliability:

Consistent attendance is crucial, especially during our peak blooming seasons. Previous experience in a warehouse, nursery, or retail environment is a plus but not required!

Job Types:

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
