Now Hiring Compensation:
Starting pay rate of $17.49 per hour Shift differential $1.00 for 3rd shift Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases Eligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivityAvailable Shift:
3rd - Sunday-Thursday, 11:50PM-8AM Packaging Associate (Packer)Summary:
Safely and effectively packs finished goods and prepares product for shipment.Responsibilities:
- Provides support for the operations team by working safely to feed material into machines, inspect product for defects, and pack finished goods in the correct configuration.
- Performs quality checks and ensures correct counts on various product sizes and packs items into the appropriate packaging.
- Makes minor machine adjustments to minimize interruptions and ensure quality product.
- Replaces adhesive tape in hand tapers and automatic sealing machinery.
- Ensures that any finished goods or work-in-progress identification labels are present and properly placed.
- Stacks finished product in the correct configuration, ready for transportation.
- Ensures good housekeeping and maintains a safe, clean, and tidy work area.
- Promptly informs supervisor of any issues concerning health and safety, hygiene, quality, or efficiencies.
- Follows all company-established rules, policies, and safety regulations.
- Completes paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team is essential.
- Ability to follow standard work instructions is required.
