This role is crucial to maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring seamless warehouse logistics. You will be responsible for unloading, verifying, inspecting, and storing incoming stock, as well as processing, grading, and repairing returned items.
PAY RATE
is $17.25 Monday-Friday in the Grove Port area. Key Responsibilities Unload incoming trailers, containers, and vendor deliveries efficiently. Verify received goods against purchase orders (POs), packing lists, and shipping documents to ensure accuracy in quantity and quality. Utilize WMS (Warehouse Management System) and RF scanners to log incoming inventory and assign locations. Break down, sort, and restack pallets for proper storage. Receive, inspect, and process customer returns, identifying the reason for return. Grade returned items based on condition (e.g., resale, refurbish, damage out). Perform basic testing or light cleaning/refurbishing of returned goods. Repackage and re-shelve returnable items into inventory. Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to Manager immediately. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving dock and warehouse area. Operate warehouse machinery safely. Adhere to all OSHA and company-specific health and safety regulations. Qualifications & Skills 1-3 years of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, logistics, or 3PL environment. Proficiency with WMS, barcode scanning technology, and basic computer skills (data entry). Valid forklift certification or ability to become certified (forklift, reach truck, pallet jack). Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20+ lbs consistently. Capable of standing/walking for 8+ hours a day. High level of accuracy in counting and inspecting products. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during a shift.
