Your Job This Packaging Specialist position is responsible for the labeling, pouring, and packaging engineered resins manufactured for photochemistry applications. A detailed breakdown of the different responsibilities associated with this position is defined below. 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) is available for this position. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Ensure compliance with all Spectra health and safety and local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. Responsible for applying product and compliance labels onto cartridges Responsible for pouring engineered resins from mixing tanks into cartridges Responsible for bagging and boxing engineered resins into individual bags and cartons Responsible for taping cartons, inserting into master box, and palletizing Responsible to follow and maintain all the documentation associated with quality control Suggest procedural and process improvements to meet or exceed the plant's productivity and quality goals. Provide firsthand support to Fulfillment on any manufacturing process issues Maintain effective communication channels (oral and written) to all levels at plant Core Competencies Good attendance record Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid problem-solving abilities. Self-motivated with the ability to work on an independent basis. Strong organizational and time management skills.Work Environment and Physical Demands:
Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, temperature changes, and particulate materials. Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods.
