Company Overview:

Metro Logistics is a privately-owned third-party logistics provider, managing over twelve million square feet of warehouse space across North America and Europe. We service the most complex and challenging distribution needs of our customers, and we are looking for Forklift Operators at our Carlisle, PA facility.

Position Overview:

Using your knowledge of best practices and strong communication skills you will be responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the staging area in a timely effective manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity.

Bilingualism (English / Spanish) is not required, but an asset.

Knowledge, Experience & Skill Requirements:

Accurately pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is loaded and shipped, while using a Hi-Reach forklift and RF Scanner Actively communicate with supervisors and colleagues to effectively handle material and notify them of problems or concerns. Makes sure to replenish locations with the right product Brings appropriate products and quantities from racking to the pick line. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Participate in physical inventories when required. Maintain a clean; neat, and orderly work area.
