Job Description

We are currently looking for a Shipping/Receiving Warehouse Clerk. This position is scheduled Monday through Thursday 5:30 to 3:00. Friday 6:30 to 10:30. Overtime as needed.
Primary duties and responsibilities:
Keep the production lines stocked with meters, cell nets, erts, cardboard, cages etc. Unload and load box truck and trailer according to our shipping schedule. Unload and load delivery trucks. Receive all deliveries and account for quantities then take packages to appropriate departments. Prepare meters for shipment according to customer's instructions. Keep inventory records of all warehoused meters, cell nets, erts, badger units, etc. Keep records of all small package shipments. Sort meters as needed per customer. Maintain forklift and keep records of fluid levels. Notify storeroom attendant or production supervisor when cardboard or any other shipping supplies need ordered. Keep shipping and warehouse clean and organized.
Other duties and responsibilities:
Must be able to work as part of a team. May be asked to perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed. Prior work experience and specialized skills and knowledge: The position will be required to perform basic math skills, i.e., adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc. Knowledge of basic computer programs.
Organizational skills Physical environment/working conditions:
Repeated bending and stooping body downward and forward is required at times. May also be required to lift up to and including 50 lbs. Repetitive motion of the hands is required. Experience/ License /
